The Alice Springs Convention Centre opened in 2002 and is the only purpose-built Convention and Exhibition Centre in Alice Springs. It is a dedicated Convention Centre and its contemporary architecture reflects the colours of the Red Centre and the rustic appeal of outback Australia
Nestled between the MacDonnell Ranges and Todd Riverbed, ASPCC is only 1.8 kilometres from the town’s CBD. One of the attractions of Alice Springs is that it is almost equidistant from every capital city in Australia and the Convention Centre is a convenient 10-kilometre ride from the airport.
Climate during the Spring months averages 9.7 min and 27 max in the Centre.
During the Spring evenings, a light jacket may be required. Ensure you bring flat shoes to wear at evening functions.
Central Australia is a semi arid environment and experiences all four of Australia’s seasons – summer, autumn, winter and spring. Central Australia’s climate is one of clear blue skies through most of the year, infrequent rain and an average of 9 hours of sunshine all day. This is a typical weather pattern of a desert region which has low erratic rainfall, long hot summers and short, sunny winters with frosty mornings.
