2015 Illustration and Photographic Competition
The Society’s Illustration and Photographic Competition aims to encourage and recognise high standards of entomological illustration. It is held in conjunction with the Annual General Meeting and Scientific Conference where the entries will be displayed and judged.
The competition consists of three categories, Student Illustration, Open Illustration, and the Photographic category. The illustration categories are further divided into Black and White, and Colour sections.
The Society has usually made available $100 for First Prize and $50 for Second Prize in each of the four illustration categories and $100, $50 and $25 for First, Second and Third Prizes in the photographic section. Highly commended certificates will also be awarded where appropriate.
The judges retain the right not to award all prizes if entry numbers or standards are not sufficient.
